Big entry for Oxford Down National Show
An outstanding entry of 81 sheep has been received for the National Show of Oxford Downs at the Royal Three Counties Show being held between 14th and 16th June at Malvern. Showing takes place on Saturday 15th June.
Judging the strong classes will be long-standing breeder James Eustice who runs the Treglinnick at Wadebridge in Cornwall, one of the largest and oldest Oxford Down flocks in the UK.
Breed President James Brown, commented: "It’s a great day for the breed to see so many entries and exhibitors for the National Show. Since starting the National Show at the Royal Three Counties the classes have gone from strength to strength and offers the breed a great platform for its promotion. It also provides an opportunity for breeders to pit themselves and their sheep against some of the best flocks from across the country. I wish everyone a safe and successful day."
