The Yew Tree flock is a growing flock of carefully selected and home bred quality sheep. Bred from award winning bloodlines with the emphasis on maintaining true Oxford breed characteristics, a breed excellent for both meat and wool.

The Banburyhill Flock now comprises 13 ewes and our female line is entirely descended from the noted Barley Park flock. Our aim is to produce quality Oxford Down breeding stock from the home of the breed here in Oxfordshire.
Rams used have been from Barley Park, Greenlands and New House as well as using some home-bred stock.

A closed flock, established in 1971, the current flock can all be traced back to one of two of the original Adderbury foundation ewes. Over the years rams from all the major flocks have been used. Current flock sire is Greenlands Roland.

Barley Park Lincoln (18448) - The last Royal Show champion. Bought for 840gns at the Worcester sale in 2010, he is now 12 years old and still working.
Horsley Leo ( 18921) - Bought privately from Bob & Jean Richardson. A big, powerful son of Fleetham Gabe with a quiet nature. His first two crops of lambs have been pleasing.
Applewick Aries (19073) - Son of Horsley Leo. Very well thought of here.
New House Solomon (19072) - Shearling ram from Rex Vincent.
